  1. indeed alot better Tonight: Bitterly cold with a fresh and gusty northeasterly breeze. Further showers of sleet and snow overnight. Rather icy on untreated surfaces, with snow accumulating even to low levels. Minimum temperature -4 °C. Monday: Another day of snow showers and strong northeasterly winds. Further accumulations of snow are likely, even to lower levels. Remaining cold or bitterly cold, with overnight frost and ice. Maximum temperature 2 °C.
  2. Barnsley has done well last couple times and even got more than was forecast each time as well 30cm would be lovely not getting too excited though
  3. This Evening and Tonight: Outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow gradually clearing southwestwards overnight. Turning very cold, with further sleet and snow showers feeding in off the North Sea. Some significant accumulations of snow likely in places, especially over higher ground. Icy conditions. Minimum temperature -2 °C. Sunday: Cold or very cold with a brisk northeasterly wind, which will continue bring frequent sleet and snow showers off the North Sea. Further accumulations are likely. Some brighter interludes. Maximum temperature 2 °C. Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Snow showers will continue, leading to further snow accumulations and icy stretches. Despite sunshine in-between the showers it will remain bitterly cold, with often strong winds and severe overnight frosts.
  4. flooding is certainly an issue for parts of our region today, lack of warnings is poor! been raining here for over 12 hours and still coming down
  5. Looking at the circled area Yorkshire will have a few surprises believe @SouthYorks and @Craigers picked this up a day or so ago also @Scott Ingham
