  1. This really is the best regional page! we have some great posters in here who actually post stuff we can understand it's going to be an exciting few days or maybe longer! hope we all get some snow and look forward to seeing great pictures in the coming days
  2. I remember 2010 well , I measured nearly 2 foot here it was amazing, our estate dosen't get gtitted so we were housebound for nearly a week , never seen snow that deep in my life
  3. Saturday: Rain turning to showers, these will increasingly turn to snow, even to lower levels later in the day. Feeling cold in strong easterly winds, with gales on coasts. Maximum temperature 4 °C. Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Further snow showers expected through the next few days, and feeling cold through this period in often strong easterly winds. However some bright spells are possible in between the showers. Updated: 04:00 (UTC) on Fri 5 Feb 2021
  4. nearly chocked on my dinner lol in a good way , I'm 125asl but was only expecting 10-15cm ..... double would be nice
  5. welcome constant changes at the moment earlier it was south but it has shifted north which helps us just keep in here and a few of our more knowledgeable posters will keep us informed
  6. Yeh a few of said up to 10cm alone in the first fall sat night? then we have sunday monday tuesday we have done well in south yorks last few events recently, get nervous when you see words like going south, downgrade lol ...
  7. hopefully some of our more experienced members in this thread will shed some light for us on the latest mods soon but it is looking good for most of yorkshire
  8. from mad thread The snow computer flags up the greatest risk of snowfall Sunday going into Monday being over Southern Northern England ( maybe from North Sea trough alignment focused in that location). Elsewhere snow convective cells widely north of The Wash and up to Scotland on the eastern side. Tuesday flags up some snow potential for Southern England on Tuesday but as yet does not provide a accuracy percentage rate. The team think the deepest cold air will arrive early on Tuesday.
  9. no i understand I get it its great some areas are getting snow that haven't seen any its very welcome but other area's in yorkshire will also do very well its something we all need to make us smile as before lockdown spring is arriving lol boooooo
