  1. looks amazing for alot of our region! fingers crossed it dosen't get wattered down more upgrades would be great! and the met actually might issue a warning at the right time
  2. don't think barnsley got the memo! our rate keeps going up, I've seen more people out and about than normal and shop staff I talk too say its like normal day post office is busy everyday so much traffic about as well here, people are just going to supermarket for a wonder just to get out
  3. Steve M says this The latest UKMO raw data suggests it never gets near leeds- At this stage I would go with the stall out somewhere between Oxford & Brum.
  4. South & West Yorks An area of rain pushing in from the southwest through the early morning will readily turn to snow in places as it encounters colder air. There remains a good deal of uncertainty in how far north the rain and snow will get, before the band stalls and starts to move south again as it eases. 3-7 cm of snow is possible to low levels with the potential for 10-15 cm over high ground (above 200-300 m), mainly in Wales and the West Midlands. There is a very low chance of perhaps as much 20 cm over highest parts of the Shropshire and Snowdonia. Between 03:00 (UTC) on Sat 30 Jan 2021 and 18:00 (UTC) on Sat 30 Jan 2021
  5. Steve M just posted this on another site Given the current trending from all 06z suites I would suggest that the arome above may end up around 50-100 miles further south - At this stage Birmingham seems the Northern extent however this could transpose more towards Oxfordshire...
  6. keep moving north wipe the smirk off the southerners lol all that gloating in mod thread making me stomach funny lol
  7. Black outline is roughly where we expect the band to pivot. Some models have it a little further north though. It could also be an area in which sees the longest spell of snow however it will likely be fragmenting by that time.
