    Does that shower near the Liverpool area have any life in it? It seems to be heading my way.

    Looks like one more shower before activity ends today. Four or five heavy showers, including a short, weak, but nevertheless exciting thunderstorm with a few flashes andrumbles, although rain during it never got really heavy. Good start.

    Very heavy rain here, although the clouds are broken up. Is that blob north of Stoke coming towards me?

    Dark clouds coming towards me, a possibly rumble or two in them. Looks like this is my last shower of the day, so I better get a good one!

    Looks like another brilliant sunny day today, with a low of 0.6C earlier, now 3.3C. It should feel mild in the afternoon, especially since winds are weaker today.

    It does feel like the first day of Spring here. Feeling warm under the sun, cool in the shade, birds singing and plants budding or preparing to bud. Cold early in the morning, but now 7.8C and rising. A perfect early March day!
