Haha, judging by some of the shocking batting on display today - not very. All the more interesting though. I'l probably head off to bed at 1ish, get up for 5 and then head back to bed from 7am-11 prepared for whats going to be a 20+ hour day.

NAE 18z looks very good, with the snow boundary line further west than the previous:

I think the gfs is slightly to far east tonight, hopefully the NAE is nearer the mark.

Really hope the models do project a significant westward revision of the front tomorrow, if only so I don't have to read "Kent... London, Kent... The Wash, Norfolk.... Kent... EA/SE... The Wash... SE will get pasted... Lincs, The Wash... every 5 minutes.
Have to agree, but there we go - lets hope they all get disappointed!

To be fair, we were looking at a very progressive north-westerly pattern back then...there was no real cold air around and it was always marginal. It still remains a huge let down though.
This weekend is very different...much more confidence thanks to the very cold air already with us.
You're right, to be fair I'm not going to speculate too much because even seeing a slight covering would make my weekend
