I do hope this warning area extends a little further west so we can all have at least a covering, Can see this being a very frustrating time for myself and the Darlington crew. Just a couple of cm will do lol.

All down to the small section of wind on Teesside which is going west where Newcastle are in an easterly. Couldn’t write it lol.

These showers my god they are so frustrating, It’s like there on the way to Teesside and they tell themself nope go back go back… Snow shield in full force!

Why do the showers seem to head south but then hit this line and bounce back north.

It’s amazing but that little shower out to sea near me is just stuck. Some experts say it’s the Teesside snow shield. it’s amazing to see, you run the radar sequence and it just won’t move while up north getting loads of showers.

You’re in the warning area so I would suggest so. I mean I would be incredibly cheesed off if I look out my house to see the snow over Middlesbrough but I’m in clear skys. Icing on the cake that would be

Like I thought a weather warning of snow for Wednesday / Thursday. But would you just know it….

So there we have it a cold spell without snow for most of us… bring on the mild to hit the reset switch and go again. We may have a good period of snow Wednesday but as the way of things I doubt it will happen. If no snow I want the no heating weather lol.

That’s all we want, something like that to last a week and look festive. every shower looks like passing here you couldn’t write it lol! We will end up getting the snow when it turns to mush straight after.

Yea it’s very disappointing for snow but the cold and frost is lovely to look at than a raging westerly! Thursday is looking good at the moment for us. Hope it stays like it.

We're in a good place regrding cold, its always hard to predict precipitation but anything can pop up from the North Sea and surprise us. As always the mod thread is all about the South and they forget about charts further north, Still confident we will see some snow in our location before the cold spell is out.

looks to me like it just completely fizzles out to nothing. Never reachers here, I think our next best chance is Sunday when we get a more of an east wind.

Wasn’t to be tonight, I do feel though as much as the mod Thread is all about no snow… for the south! I think we will see some from the North Sea given the right wind direction. no question though it’s going to be cold.

Well first chance of the season is a bust, just sleet but freezing outside!

I think as the more heavier stuff moves in it will be snow. Hoping for a decent hour or so of it.

Still looking good for around 3pm going off the radar, if the first shower a moment ago was anything to go by then it will be of snow.
