and its gone right to my head. couldn't resit Cold air not due to arrive till later tonight. Still not confident them showers tomorrow will come inland.

It snows in Consett in summer lol. Still a good sign the cold air is arriving.

So we now have a Monday - Friday warning from the Met for Snow. Not very often this happens so let's hope in one of those days we all get our fix.

I’m sticking by my prediction of all the shower being out to sea and missing us again! I just can’t see where they are getting 5/10cm from. I will hold my hands up though it wrong, just can’t see it happening, bring on the sun / warmth

I know we should never listen to weather apps but even the met office one shows warnings but not one bit of snow in the apps lol. wind directions never ever favour where I live, these showers will be out to sea. If we feb get a more of an NNE direction we are in the game.

That’s what I keep saying and seeing, another frustrating spell I think.

God I hope so, it looks all looks out to sea and only coast parts getting it to me. met usually are right though so warnings must be 90% of confidence.

To me it just looks like exposed coasts getting the showers as always, let’s hope I’m wrong but northerlies are rubbish for here, we need a NNE.

We are finally in a snow warning. None of this draw round Stockton / Darlington rubbish let’s hope this time we all have some fun. I will add though I’m sure it’s going to be frustrating for me as can see the showers only clipping coastal regions again.

Yes one to watch for sure, seems to me though again it misses here, places I mentioned in with a good shout if its cold enough for snow.

Could we maybe get a suprise with that front coming down from Scotland, Newcastle / Sunderland / Durham etc look well placed. Teesside well less said the better... But will it be snow? due to come around 3/4 o'clock?

Hope you’re right. But the way I see it is it fizzles ( where have I heard that before lol) out as it passes Scotland and drifts out to sea. typical, a polar low is as rare as hens teeth and it misses us.

The wind direction is all wrong for that low to come here. It swings out to sea. Like everything does

Yea I agree, we used to be in one of the best spots. Never mind, we will get our turn one day. But for now I would rather keep cost down on my gas and electric than having a slight frost!
