  1. As I say to my kids - if you can't say something positive, don't bother. Kudos to Backtrack for putting some effort into his posts, so much more beneficial to the world than those throwing small stones at him. We're all disappointed by the weather at times, get over it. As I type there are all sorts of showers pepping up around the region. Some of you may look a little foolish come the morning. Or maybe not, but being negative is just the lazy way.

It seems BT ramped up a situation again and got the hopes of people up!

Others such as SnowJoke seem to be spot on correct.

  2. From around 5pm the colder air difference between the SST's (sea surface temperatures) will create some major convection, with the wind still being in our favour. I love it at night as I can watch my lamppost :D

If there are flakes mixed in with uppers of -4C/-5C with an air temperature of 7C, then I am certain that the showers will be completely of snow, perhaps grauple too.

The conditions are ripe, and I fully expect to see a streamer later on. A few cm's for some locations.

    What locations?

  3. Really

been watching the radar all winter LOL,and guess what...nothing,the comments are more realistic than laughable

i admire your optimisim BT,but the truth is this so called winter is what is laughable

    C.S

It's been a winter to forget that's for sure. Had a few inches of snow here for other week and December, but that's it. That's normal here, I might even say it's below normal.
