    Realistically what can we expect ? looking at the met, beeb and local forecasts we are not mentioned at all only scotland.

    Hmm im not so optimistic now looks a scotland and northern england affair at best high comes in too quick cant say that we are not used to getting let down this winter lol. Lets just look forward too spring.

    Thanks jackone, yes winter hasnt been good but a slim chance is better than no chance in my book so i will be looking forward to saturday. Are there likely to be any warnings or we just looking at possible shower activity.

    Is the ppn still going to shift west my head is hurting looking for positive signs of snow? I cant get on rain today to check is there any other free radars so i can look as well

    what change do you expect after then? if any that is, both itv and channel 5 show snow from 3 in the mornin to midday i know they are not the most trusted of forecasts but was nice to see nonetheless.

    I reckon we all meet up in a pub each one of us then hires a snow machine each to create the mother of all blizzards? Any takers lol because the way this winter is going thats the best we gonna get !!

    Well guys im downbeat now (again) so frustrating looked like sure upgrades this morning even for western wales. But going by the excitement of the east biased on model threads etc theres been a big shift east with even the west midlands missing out im off to cry

    so can we expect rain initially then turning to snow through early hours of friday? Would we still get any accumulation if ground temps drop favourably again?

    Is there anybody from aberystwyth seems to be a heavy snow on the meto map? Surely this is a good sign for the rest of us?

    Well times like this i wish i was further east lol literally more than likely to be on the wrong side of marginal again by a few miles. East is definately best and west is least this winter

    Not being doom and gloom but im not getting my hopes up. Story of winter around here any way has always been the case of being the wrong side marginal or ppn has been shifted east, looks to be the same this time round perhaps east wales may get lucky.

    How long is this likely to last? As forecasted or have things changed because it arrived sooner etc
