How scary is that!? I fell down four stairs with Ollie on Sunday and have carpet burns on my arms and back. So scared that I had hurt him but I think he thought I was playing as smiled and carried on as usual.

Unfortunatly, Ollie never got to meet Grandad as they live in Birmingham, which I know is not far, and time just disappears ! A few months ago I wanted to go up with him but grandad did not want us to see him so ill so I had little choice but to respect his wishes. Nan told me at the wake that he was disappointed at not meeting him but wanted us to remeber him as the man he was and that he was always holding and chatting to the numerous pictures we had sent up.

I will give him lots of stories about him as if there ever was a role model to look up to then he was it. As the blog says he was a unforgettable gentleman !
