    Heavy snow in Ditchling sussex

    Just started to snow very lightly here in Ditchling, settling too but very small flakes at the moment , nice to see;-)

    Drive up Ditchling Beacon this morning early , about an inch of snow also a good covering atop Woodingdean too , all melted except for shady areas now though :-(

    I'm at aprox 100 mtrs above sea level and Ditchling Beacon is 227 Mtrs Above Sea level so as Steve Murr said snow possible above 50mtrs explains this!

    Snowed here in Ditchling , grass is White as is Ditchling Beacon very white! but hard surfaces are wet so must have rained before it snowed I suppose but at least it settled

    Drove through Rain wet snow sleet near Burgess hill just now , icey bits splattering all over the windscreen

    Drive through Danehill Sussex just now, must have had over an Inch up there this morning , still a fair bit laying plus remnants of snowmen a d snowballs :-)

    Oh well can't get video to upload:-( but we had heavy snow here for 40 minutes, it stopped 10 mins ago Ditchling Beacon looks nice and snowy from my window too :/)
