    Don't think we've anything like that, but it's quite heavy now. However, it doesn't look like there's that much more to come...

    Quite a lot heavier here now. Should get to Leeds in half an hour?

    Has picked up in the last hour or so, and some heavy stuff seems to be heading our way (will let you know when it hits, Otley/Leeds people!)

    Met office has it turning to sleet for Skipton later... Was hoping for a bit more than this before that happened. Nothing to write home about yet.

    If that turns out to be right, that's about as extreme as it gets in Britain isn't it? Having said that, won't hold my breath! Was expecting a nice cold frosty winter day today with the odd snow shower. Got a mild and wet one (after some early ice).

    It's been quite windy, but nothing massively out of the ordinary for Skipton... Have we got towards the end of the stormy weather now? Are we expecting any snow later?

    Champion! But nobody seems to be posting in it! It's windy here (in Skipton) and very wet. But nothing out of the ordinary really... Is it going to get worse? The BBC and met office forecasts seem to suggest it's going to dry up this afternoon, and they're not forecasting us much in the way of showers, etc. from then on? I wondered whether we might be West enough to catch some snow?

    The showers seem to be missing Skipton tonight. So far anyway!
