  1. It would be extremely surprising if it did. September on the other hand is a different story . . .
  2. I don't think you understand what ''nail in the coffin'' means.
  3. The maps can be gotten here >>> http://www.natice.noaa.gov/ims/ I don't know where to get the anomaly maps, anyone able to help?
  4. In a frost hollow so have had a lot, min of -6.4 one night in November.
  5. But going by the anomaly map this doesn't seem to be unusual for this time of year? Unless the anomaly ap is older than the snow extent map.
  6. Some of us might take offence at how far west that circle extends. . . .
  7. DP -0.3 here in south east Ireland, not a chance in hell of precipitation though.
  8. 3rd air frost in a row here tonight and 7th of the season (frost hollow). Got to -3.4 last night, currently -2.3.
  9. Given that this is the first winter since last December is it not stating the obvious that it's going to be the coldest since then? It's also going to be the warmest, wettest, windiest, calmest and driest!
  10. Had our 5th (and sharpest) frost of the year here last night. Frost hollow ftw!
  11. The hill behind you that you talk of is your best chance of snow, but for your level you will prob not even see sleet. Also the GFS has downgraded on cold today compared to yesterday.
  12. Was cloudy all day, all the frost thawed overnight and its been mild, round 4C all day.
  13. sun is starting to burn through the fog for the first time in a few days, might not have an ice day if this keeps up!! I like the cold bright weather but not this bloody fog!
  14. Had our second ice day in a row here due to extremely thick fog, never got above -1 all day. . . Very dull and depressing, although trees and everything are white due to freezing fog. Normally 2 ice days would be a good sign for snow but not this time. . .
