they stay open, but just last longer....unless we get a really juicy event which brings peeps back running....
-
best one is joemillerbhines, sat underneath the storm
-
they all seem to be tracking the wrong system, the one to the south looks far more promising from radar.
-
cloud , cloud , cloud , cloud , cloud....
this week in a nutshell
-
tom stolze is at home and has a nice thunderstorm over himself
-
this is usually quite good on stormy days, you can zoom in and out and lick on the chaser cars to see individual feeds

fantastic boat painting day, wall to wall sunshine and slight breeze. Wonderful weather and same tommorow, volunteered for garden duties nearby.
The cloud should clear from the east and possibly clear Telford at sunset tommorow...
-
Nothing much in store today, however, increased possibility of chaser action in Arkansas, Texas and Missisipi tommorow.
-
There's a small chance of some action today, down in the Missisipi/Texas area. 1" hail reported widely already in Kansas and Oklahoma.

This must be one of the longest cycle storms I have heard of, it keeps trundling around the channel.
What is the record life of a trpical storm??
-
the winds are really picking up now that the front has passed through.
Rain to me is vital as I live on the canals. There are already restrictions and closures further south due to disastrously low reservoirs and no real rain for 18 months.

have a look at charles edwards stream on chasertv

12.7C here with sunshine. Took the dog in just a t-shirt earlier.
Does your dog always wear a t shirt??
The rain weather warning today for the NW which has been there since saturday has mysteriously disappeared, it was still there this morning , with virtually no prep.
Tommorow looks a bit wetter though.....for now
-
metoffice has just extended the warning to cover more of the southeast.......
-
I was under PPT from 12pm according to the radar, it finally staretd snowing at 4pm.
-
The radar is currently showing me under precipitation, however, nothing is falling and the sky is quite bright. Areas with no snow cove are bone dry.
-
There seems to be a heightened amount of activity in the Pacific, is this unusual??
-
another one, sorry, bradgate park after a long day sledging
-
Yes, it was one of those days where ypu just curled up on the sofa and kept warm............NOT.
Leicester was bathed in horrible fog, you can see it on the lower photo, sometimes you just have to go and find that sunshine.....
-
still big flakes and creaky snow here. 3" now
-
Anyone here able to tell me if the front is behaving as expected, with snow fall amounts and speed of moving east and the line it slows down at?
Yes, snow here since 3pm, now turning into BIG flakes, building depth quickly, front has slowed since the two fronts merged on the sat.
Looks like almost 1cm been dumped already in places here in the hour, took an affort to reverse into parking space. just goes to show whats wrong with our country if a car can't cope with 1cm snow.
-
The first front seems to be struggling to move much further, the second front is starting to join it, this is when the real heavy precip bumps in. It will be interesting to see if it manages to go the whole hog and clear the SE later.....
-
just finished insulating the houdini hatches on the roof and the first flakes are swirling in the breeze at shardlow near east midlands airport. It sounds like there is a testing day at Donnington Park race circuit, could be interesting up there if they carry on....
-
Lol it already has snowed mate, had whiteout conditions earlier, got around 1cm on the ground and still coming down.
How is the game looking today?? did you switch the undersoil heating on?? Tangerine comes in peace!!!

I've not seen as many chasers out as early as this for a long time.
I think there may be some serious action later on in the fort worth dallas area
Flash flood warnings for Oklahoma where the weather front has stalled for most of the day.
Upgraded warnings now from the NOAA - strong damaging wind, large hail and moderate potential for tornado activity for Texas, Arkansas and Missouri......
its going to be a long night!!
