Snapchat maps has a video posted 40mins ago from Marsh Harbour. Another one over an hour ago showing some trees down.

Sorry bit late to the thread - have been following Reddit’s thread.
This does not look good. Those poor people in the Bahamas. Few days ago, I was ready to book 4 days in Bahamas for October (I’m in Florida for a few weeks anyway so thought we’d take a trip over). Glad I didn’t - I don’t think they’ll be in a good position for many months to come.
I have this feeling it’s going to continue West and possibly make landfall in Florida. That’s just my hunch. I know it’s still up in the air but I’ve a bad feeling and going by what I’ve read on Reddit - many local news stations had been telling people that it will turn north and miss them. I fear it will continue west and possibly hug the east coast .. and many people won’t have been properly prepared based on the earlier north turns.

Is it seriously snowing in Banbridge? Lol I seen it on FB - CoolFM. I was so getting used to this lovely springlike weather last week.

Ooo I’ll have to keep an eye out. Thanks for the update. I’ve family up in Ballymoney - was there last night .. should have been there tonight instead

Haha loving the snow pics for you lucky ones. Feeling like @Rocheydub this time round with the snow shield talk. Hoping something miraculous happens and I wake up tomorrow with a good layering of white stuff. Highly doubt it though. Not jealous at all
Enjoy folks ??

Sunny here in Belfast - few flurries on way to work over back of cavehill - but more like sleet ... looking like we're going to miss out - ah well ... everyone else enjoy!

Temp heading up.. From 0 to 1.5 in last 30mins. Rain not far away. Total disaster
Looks like we’re not gonna get anything of interest this far north (I’m Mallusk). Ah well

Very heavy in North Belfast - started lying on wet ground within 15 mins of starting ... heavy up in Mallusk too!

No snow due in the East of Ulster until the wee small hours.
Yeh I thought that. Rain's on for the night then. Normally I'm excited by the prospect of snow but I'm feeling a bit under the weather at the minute, so I can't really be bothered I'm sure if it arrives tho - it'll be a different story and I'll be all excited lol ...

Raining now in Belfast .... winter is coming

I've a walk up cavehill next Friday night (yip - nighttime walk) for charity - I'm hoping it doesn't drop one then

A fleeting Northerly this Sunday but its a right toppler lol..
Northerly landing date just before Xmas around 20th
Ooo the 20th - my birthday and our Christmas staff night out! Interesting!
Sorry - Hi guys! Just back in again after a wee break. Not getting too caught up on the model thread this year - really couldn't be bothered. In saying that, I'll prob have a nosey in the new year, but I'll not be as obsessive as previous years - what will be will be, whether I know what will happen or not ... it'll still happen.

Seems to have reached Cat 5 just after landfall
This is crazy how it escalated overnight. Those poor people who went to bed thinking it was a Cat 2. Wake up to a Cat 4 with very little time to get out - I mean it’s just after midday there. Crazy stuff.

Been snowing heavily last half hour in Mallusk. Starting to lie but it’s pretty wet from all the rain earlier. Had snow when I woke up early this morning then rain washed it away. If it didn’t rain I’d say we’d have a good inch or so

JUST PIPING IN to say what a beautiful bank holiday. Bit cold but beautiful.
Just read a snippet on one of the news pages about a return to cold (“arctic blast”) during the Easter period.
Im loving this weather and am looking forward to spring but I missed out on the last two beasties (?) ... first one - one day of snow all morning but my granda died that day so was last thing on my mind) - melted that night.
One last wee period of snow up in Mallusk would be nice - then I can move on to spring lol. Though if it doesn’t happen I won’t be too disappointed - but no rain please - just nice weather like today ?
-
Finally a dusting here in Glengormley! Wont imagine it’ll last very long but nice to get in on some of the action.

That's grim - slackers they are! There's not a flake of snow around there for them to be worrying about. If they were down around Craigavon or somewhere, or even Carryduff, fair enough but Cityside - that's a laugh...
I know ?. I spent the afternoon in Costa at cityside during storm Orphelia build up before it closed for the evening. The wind was not that bad last night. So disappointed. There were plenty of cars about - just losing trade really. Think maybe a few places where there’s no shown have used it as a bit of an excuse.

Pretty bored with this weather now lol! However, going by the model thread, doesn't seem to be any signs of spring - cold but not as chilly as we've obviously had. Possibility of some intermittent snow in the north next weekend - probably a better chance for me for snow, but very early stages at the minute, and to be honest, I'm fed up with it - just want spring to show now (will have to wait a while).
Was raging last night - Costa Coffee at Cityside - normally open till 9. I stopped by after 8 on my way home from Castlereagh to grab a hot chocolate for the rest of the drive home and it was closed 'because of the weather' - windy yes, snow - no .. and local people working in that Costa - not ones from heavy snow areas. Just wanted my hot chocolate fix (only Costa for me) and was so disappointed because it was closed
-
That wind is crazy. Slight bit of snow overnight - not covering the roads tho so nothing to write home about

Gosh I haven't been in this forum since they changed to the groups format. I didn't have a clue how to reply lol!
Snowing heavy in Mallusk, Glengormley. Lying here! Been raining/sleeting most of the day but it's started to lie ... and lie well ... in the last hour
