Grey and blowy and am not liking the prospect of another cold spell. Sort of want sunshine and flowers and warmth now. Must really be getting old

I remember that snow of 2013. We were hit bad in the old house, I've got a photo of my son digging through the wall of snow at the front door. A lot of dead lambs around the farms, so sad.

Not sure whether I should smirk or yawn   - yet another calm sunny lovely morning here near Jedburgh! Last 2-3 nights it has rained overnight and all gone by morning.  Not seen snow for weeks.

Two days of bright sun but very deceiving because it was bloody baltic out there and I was glad to get back inside.

  Blue skies, even some sunshine. Jedburgh - the Scottish riviera Had some rain ate on last night but it stopped. Wonder how Edinb hogmanay went - don't fancy for one minute paying a fortune to stand around in wet streets in pouring rain listening to eejits screaming and yelling.. 

Shuggee I begin to wonder if that heron at Peebles is real, I think he might be a concrete one the cooncil plonks around for folk to take pics of. Any pics we take of the river always seems to have that bird in them! lol
101 North, amazing the difference in your weather and mine. In the last house - boundary line between Midlothian and Borders - we got the same weather as you, down here never anything like it.

Was wet here but not as bad as expected, sun even came oot in the afternoon. Heard Hawick just escaped flooding but not heard yet how Newcastleton got on, husband went out a walk wi his pal and says the Teviot looks very dangerous, Off to catch up on fb now and hope none of the wee places got hit.

Well after the whole winter with nothing, we woke up to lovely sparkly frozen snaw. Just melted now, but husband is away up to Edinburgh with his pal in their ancient Corsa so I hope the roads up there aren't too bad
