  1. Moderate-Heavy snow here nearly 3" in total
  2. I think it was later for East Mids...its not far away now :-)
  3. Forget the NAE look out the window much more reliable... and the radar of course :-)
  4. I would say good chance of snow for you!
  5. Looks good to me for North East Mids which ties in with the lastest MetO forecast....though it will probably change again later...
  6. Well the NAE was wrong for me this morning! Every forecast appears to be chopping and changing i'm refusing to get hung up on sleet/snow/rain. I am fairly confident it will snow here. The MetO have us under snow all the way now... from being rain then sleet.
  7. It looked fine for the East Mids i just watched Darren Betts forecast. Patchy but still snowy. Anywhere West of the East Mids more sleety/rain. But as the forecast changes within hours there still may be some pleasant surprises
  8. The excitement in here...... i must, must get my ironing done today I'm agreeing with the others i think anywhere East of Birmingham will be fine as regards snow....
  9. Its down to nowcasting. The BBC never mentioned rain for tomorrow for East Mids. :-) Even the NAE is showing rain here now and it has snowed. All we need to do is window watch & radar watch for the next 24hrs.
  10. I'm no expert but i'm sure the East Mids will do fine. The West Mids may well still see snow but its more marginal. Good luck everyone! Its certainly looking like a cold week anyway
  11. The NAE is good but its not perfect....it has rain over us at the moment and its snowing :-)
  12. All you can do now is look at the radar and out the window...:-) There was no snow forecast for here until later and we have some
  13. Just saw that Matt bloke on BBC looked all snow to me on the forecast for the East Mids
  14. Snowing lightly here at the moment with a good covering over roads and other surfaces. :-) Thankyou North Sea
  15. The forecast has changed 3 times in a short space of time already... i still feel the eastern mids will do well.
  16. From what i have read the first band of snow/rain/sleet whatever ...was supposed to be patchy until the next band arrived later on Monday..
  17. Its looking good for the East Mids 'if you like snow that is' Derbyshire, Notts and Lincs will get plenty i reckon
  18. I was just going to post that NAE chart.. its looking good for some Easterly showers. We did well in 2010 from showers coming inland (see my avatar) :-)
  19. The precip in the NE is definately moving SSW as you can see its not going much past the Wash if you watch the sequence
  20. Light snow now getting heavier...nothing major but its all snow.
