Can't see as anyone can accurately give people amounts really.... the words 'snow' and 'potentially disruptive' are probably as far as anyone will go today..
The Western extent would be Derby area ish for the East Mids...it was all snow and showed nothing of rain/sleet. No sleet or rain was mentioned either.
Not sure but the dew points are at freezing and below for many parts of the mids away from the more SW areas which would tie in with the BBC forecasting rain on its back edge in the same area
I'm not sure if i'm reading things correctly but it looks like the snow is pushing through earlier... i have my daughters birthday party tomorrow afternoon and i'm getting slightly concerned about everyone cancelling ...
Looking good for my area on Saturday/Sunday as long as there is no more Easterly movement
We also had a light snow shower earlier and quite dark out to my NE now too
