  1. Snowing lightly here now...and i do mean lightly
  2. I'm following 'look outside the window' radar ....
  3. Can't see as anyone can accurately give people amounts really.... the words 'snow' and 'potentially disruptive' are probably as far as anyone will go today..

  5. 1c still here, we had 3-4" snow last night ...very slow thaw this week of any lying snow here
  6. I bet there's not a lot of buses heading up to Mapperley ..
  7. it was forecast yesterday that it would turn to rain in the west mids i think..
  8. As far as i was aware it wasn't meant to get heavier until after 6pm anyway
  9. What about the people that live near the M1 i.e within 3 miles
  10. The Western extent would be Derby area ish for the East Mids...it was all snow and showed nothing of rain/sleet. No sleet or rain was mentioned either.

  12. Yes for the West Mids... not the East tho I would imagine it has something to do with the forecasted dew points..???
  13. Not sure but the dew points are at freezing and below for many parts of the mids away from the more SW areas which would tie in with the BBC forecasting rain on its back edge in the same area

  16. I'm not sure if i'm reading things correctly but it looks like the snow is pushing through earlier... i have my daughters birthday party tomorrow afternoon and i'm getting slightly concerned about everyone cancelling ...

  18. Looking good for my area on Saturday/Sunday as long as there is no more Easterly movement We also had a light snow shower earlier and quite dark out to my NE now too
  19. No snow here overnight...hoping we may get a shower this week from the East
  20. Plenty of showers feeding in through the Cheshire gap now..lets hope its gonna snow! Met O going for 3c max today.
  21. Things can and probably will still change with the possible snow event i'm not writing it off just yet!
  22. Still gusty here in between Derby and Nottm, up to 50mph gusts recorded at Watnall
