Light snow in Bingley 81m absl.
What do we reckon if showers reach us?
I'm at 190m in east Morton and it looks and sounds like a mix of snow and hail as it hits surfaces.

On holiday in Whitby and currently sat under a cold sea fret. Is there any way of predicting when it will lift please?

Snow here and already a thick covering over everything (prob a few cm's in depth). Due to be a lot more this morning as well, going to be a 'fun' school run.
Yes great big flakes here in East Morton for a while. Lovely surprise to wake up to.

Spoke too soon. Thinks it's raining now.

Its the annoying stuff, thats just slushy and gets everything wet; was about 2 inches at most here. Looks pretty though and is still snow, all be it the worst type.
Yes we drove past a car in a ditch over the Blubberhouses. Was very slippery.

Just driven back from Harrogate to Keighley. Good few inches of fluffy but wet snow on the ground and in the middle of the road.

I was wondering the same. Supprised to see my dark sky app has snow for Sunday. This has snuck up on me.

Can't stand watching the radar showers disintegrate right on my doorstep any longer.

Had a inch here in Bingley overnight so be nice to get that again tonight.

Doing quite well here in East Morton. Been up since 5am and it's pretty much been snowing constantly. Perhaps 1 cm. Very small flakes but I'm excited!

It makes me chuckle when they do that or they transition to later in the day or the next day. Clear sign they don't have a clue. Frustrating when they return to the animation and the precipitation has moved past our area without talking about what will happen in the time period they have just skipped.
