I remember that by July of last year we had had some incredibly warm nights where even with the windows open, no covers and ahem, a lack of nightwear, it was still too hot to sleep.
-
We appear to have fog. WTF?

The last week of March as so cold! We were in Devon for Easter weekend and I walked around the whole time with a coat and scarf!
-
Lovely it was too. I was between jobs so got a nice tan in the garden as well as squeezing in some BBQ's.
-
7mm of rain over that period. Seemed like more.
-
According to the Beeb it's going to turn back on itself shortly and come over again.
-
So BBC has just shown the forecast, it almost looks as if this band gets to the eastern most point of Essex before reversing back over the SE!
-
Just realised it can rain as much as it likes, but my hanging baskets are protected by the leeward side of the house so remain dry. Still the lawn, veggies and bushes are getting a nice drink.
-
Chucking it down now.
-
I have a picture which I will post later of half my decking being wet and the other half dry!

We appear to have had some hail. Wasn't expecting that.

Heaviest of the rain seems to have gone north and south of us, we're in the little bit between the two heavy patches.
-
The front of the band has arrived here now with light rain, I assume the heavy stuff is on it's way. band seems to be moving through much more quickly.
-
Hammering it down with rain.
We are under some red echoes here @ Bluewater.
Must be just minutes away from me here in Strood then, still dry atm.
-
Thanks for that, i have always wondered.
-
So is that currently stalled band of rain going to unstall and move east later?
-
Weird how that band of rain in completely stalled. I can see the clouds from it miles away, but it is holding around just before Maidstone.
-
Can someone write an idiots guide to taking lightning pictures and stick it in the photography section?

Still pretty windy. Enough so the cat refuses to go out (he hates it blowing his ears!). I see the thunderstorms forecast for me on Sunday have been downgraded

Surprisingly gusty here. Have had to tie down a few things!
-
Still lightly raining and the garden is feeling refreshed.
-
:shok: :shok: ! Didn't think you would break your rain duck so soon! Raining here at the moment too!
It's light rain, but at least it's being consistent. There may even be a puddle forming!

BREAKING NEWS!
We have rain, not heavy, but rain. I'm hoping it'll get heavier to give the garden a proper watering.

Looks like an intense band of rain heading towards me. Bets on if it will dissipate before it gets here?

I'm surprised at how chilly it is. Wearing a jumper for the first time in ages.
