Right, caught up on 3 MaD pages that appeared during my 20 minute drive home...
Seriously thinking of bringing my guinneapig indoors next week, heat pads aren't going to cut it if this comes off!

Could still be about 50 posts on that page.
Yeah but as I can't understand half of them my skim-reading is quite quick!

Lol I see some bans were dished out ? who’s gone, I’m curious.....
ECM saved almost certain Netweather Blanket bans.... phew!
message the same really, going to turn cold, no question about it, detail really is very uncertain. ECM is great but UKMO/GFS/ECM are quite different heading into next week apart from it’s going to be very cold, that’s currently all they agree on.
Tomorrow will hopefully bring a bit more clarity, but I’d imagine that might be a bit soon! This 2nd warming has brought a bit of chaos back to the Models. Shame as we were heading toward agreement before that point. But we might be greatful as the week progresses!!
Thanks for writing this in English that I understand Karlos - it's too mad over in MAD thread.

Yeah ok so I wish I hadn't looked, I am now so confused. Will it snow? Where? Damnit I should avoid these forums & any forecasts and take each day as it comes

I've spent a day on the beach at Hayling Island and it was gorgeous earlier, t-shirt warm. Now the wind is coming from the east and there's a distinct nip in the air, brrr

8.8 degrees for me, feels positively balmy down here!

Am lurking again waiting to see if this happens or not. Also periodically scanning MoD but it's too technical in there for me lol. Am really hoping for 0 snow and not too low temps down here on the south coast as I have a pond full of frogs spawning

Wintery shower over Fareham, very light snow.

I can't believe I was down the seaside in a t-shirt at lunchtime, the sun on my face & skin was so very welcome!
Back to the cold, dark now

Gorgeous sunny day on Hayling Island - I'm off to the seaside to make the most of it

Am watching the radar and initially got excited by the pink heading towards me. Then I watched closely and it disappears the closer it gets - typical!

Upgrade for Tuesday IMO having watched Points West and national forecasts.
Snow mentioned for Somerset on the local forecast then frontal snow shown across the region on the national, admittedly decaying through the day as the front moves East.
Be prepared for it to stay further West though!
Nick mentioned similar in the MAD thread, UKMO upgrade for Tuesday but in the SW. Glad I didn’t have my hopes up!

You’ve got me intrigued now, gonna have to stealth into the MAD thread & see what’s going on ?

It's a shame the Mad thread is like it is. Some very informative posters don't bother posting in there because a select few who spoil it for everyone else. Apart from the odd light snow showers, I've had to sit and watch every one else in the country get plenty of snow ?. But I wouldn't go posting in the Mad thread about how bad this winter had been.
I'll just moan in here instead
You've got a good point there SteveB - I remember there used to be some really informative posters and whilst I found some of it hard to follow I could get the general gist of what they were saying. Currently though it does seem like a lot of NIMBYs post there and opposing views are shot down in flames. Hence why I prefer lurker mode
