Gosh this rain is coming down in North West Wales - torrential rain but feeling warm and humid outside.
-
A few reports on Facebook and Twitter reporting yet another earthquake in North West Wales tonight. Aftershock of the one that hit them a month ago I wonder?
-
My family did in Deiniolen, nr Caernarfon. They were woken up by it, and said windows and everything was shaking. They also reported that there was more than one earthquake.Anybody felt last night earth quake in North Wales registered 3.8 .

Anybody around that lively storm crossing Gower?
Friend of mine has just tweeted from Burry Port, saying there's thunder and lightning there!
-
"Overall a risk of some storms in the south west late afternoon which are likely to be steered towards Wales. Possibility of some weak convergence zone type funnels, but main risk is localized flooding and hail.
I like the sound of 'steered towards Wales'. Was slightly disappointed yesterday, nothing really came out from those showers for Cardiff. A bit hazy this morning though. Hopefully today will be a better day!

Some strong cells now showing to the south of us getting alot darker now too.
That's the one I might see from here - I'll try and get some pictures!
-
Clouds seems to be more potent now with a few developing into larger towering cumulus. There's also a larger cell towards the SE, Bristol area I think, which has developed into a Cumulonimbus. Hopefully these will get even more strength in the next hour or so.
-
Nice bubbly clouds around Cardiff, but plenty of sunshine on offer as well. Hopefully we'll get some action later on!

Is that snow up in Storey Arms as well? http://www.traffic-wales.com/CS/sign.ashx?layer=cctv&scn=217.159.57.67_4001_1&height=220&width=300

Light.......easterly winds here
There was some flurries in town earlier.
-
This weather is wierd. East side of Elidir (mountain) is white, on the West side the snow level is higher up, but down in Llanberis there's snow but up in Deiniolen, which is higher up of about 100m there's no snow, and just icy rain.
-
Well, my village is just far too West, heavy icy rain still falling, no snow. Pathetic, ha!
-
Sleety/Flakes of snow here in bitting gusty winds. I'm currently in Deiniolen, N West Wales.
-
Lovely snowflakes in central Cardiff. -0.7C

I think areas like Cardiff could still be hit by this snow from the south....
Hope you're right!

Yeah, my Facebook has gone mad with everyone talking about the earthquake. Twice apparently with one lasting around 10 seconds. It was definitely not a thunderstorm, might be one of those sonic booms jets they use on Anglesey, but this area does tend to get a few every now and again. Gutted that I'm in Cardiff, nothing here.
-
Actually it's snowing.
-
Well, it's raining in Cardiff. Shower coming in from the North.
-
Wow. Wind, hail and heavy rain just started. No thunder yet. But the wind! Blooming heck!
-
OMG! That was nut! Very close lightning, massive thunder and heavy hail! Fantastic!

The Mynydd Llandygai one? I always check on there, it's about 3 miles from here so pretty close. There's still some rain around - and that website is now recording nearly 60mm of rain. It should clear in the next few hours I guess.
And I'm currently in Deiniolen not Cathays.
