  1. Some people were reported to be stuck on the M6 for 6 hours, trying to get across junction 14 from Eccleshall was impossible.
  2. Some cloud with a stiff SW wind, current temperature 23.2C. But the temperature is considerably more in Stafford due to the fact that the M6 is shut southbound, the town and surrounding area is gridlocked!

  7. Grey and overcast here with showers showing on the radar coming in from the west. Just what we wanted as we are opening our garden today for the National Gardens Scheme. Temperature 15.3C pressure 1016mb and humidity 91%, expecting rain in a couple of hours.
  8. Overcast and wet with an overnight low of 12.8C current temperature is 14.3C pressure 1012mb humidity 100%. The outlook is for rain most of the day.
  9. I run an Oregon Scientific WMR 200 and have had 3 UV sensors that also record sunshine hours, they are probably the worst sensors I have had the misfortune to own. They usually cease to work after 12 - 18 months at a £40 a throw I'm not going to replace it again. I may well try the temperature sensor in a jar, as described by Brian Hamilton author of weather display. He recommends painting the base of the jar black, so it becomes a black body and gives full instruction as to how to set it up within weather display.
  10. A dull overcast and wet start with 3mm of rain in the last hour. Temperature 15.1C, pressure 1014mb and humidity 96%, it should be brighter this afternoon before more rain this evening.
  11. Overcast start but its warm and sultry. Temperature 18.7C pressure 1015mb and humidity 72% Posted a photo of some nice Mamma clouds seen here yesterday evening, see cloud gallery.
