  1. A heat wave during the night with a recorded low of 15.3C. Currently blue sky with some cirrus. Current readings. Temperature 15.4C Pressure 1008mb and rising Humidity 100% Wind WSW gusting to 4.3mph Certainly looks like we should have some better weather. Off to Bournemouth now for the weekend free airshow.
  2. I've just checked and you are right! I inadvertently looked at the average temperatures, the actual highest recorded temperature for August is 24.8C recorded on the 8th.
  3. Same here warmest day of the month at 19.1C beating the 18.9C recorded on 6th.
  4. Another chilly night with a low of 4.7C, current temperature is 11.1C, pressure 1017mb wind light from SE. It's a overcast at the moment but the cloud should soon clear to give a dry day with some sunny intervals.

  6. Just checked my rain fall records for the last 5 years and this August is the wettest: August 2010 47.8mm August 2011 26.8mm August 2012 66.8mm August 2013 42.5mm August 2014 74.5mm
  7. No I live in Great Bridgeford north west of Stafford.
  8. A total of 15.9mm yesterday and another 5.4mm today. This morning is grey damp and gloomy temperature 13.7C with a moderate NE wind gusting to 13.2mph, pressure is 1006mb. Looking at the radar is seems that the rain has now passed and the cloud should start to clear to give a brighter and sunny end to the day.
  9. Overcast night holding the temperature 10.9C Just checked my records for the last 5 years and the lowest August temperature was 2010 31st August 2.2C
  10. Light rain since 05:30 with 4.1mm recorded, wind from the East gusting to 10mph. It grey and overcast with light rain temperature 11.6C the outlook is for more heavy and persistent rain from the SW this afternoon and evening. Current Conditions. Temperature 11.6C Pressure 1009mb Wind from east Humidity 97%
  11. Overnight low of 5.6C here again but this morning is clear dry and bright with a temperature of 12.7C arise of 4.1C in the last hour. Should be a dry day but with cloud increasing prior to the expected rain tonight. Temperature 12.8C Wind SSW gusting to 4mph Pressure 1019mb and static Humidity 91%
  12. A couple of light showers here, didn't even register. Quite a nice sunny evening but still breezy. Looks like another cold night.
  13. Overcast and quite breezy at the moment gusting WSW 14.6mph, plenty of showers about but remaining dry. A cool night with a low of 5.5C current temperature is 15.7C and rising at 2.2C in the last hour.
