so what are the chances for snow in Stockport?? Will I miss out like last time?Sorry I don't but it is probably deliberate to lull you into thinking that we are gonna get rain like London then when your not looking those Darn Sarf will be ordering their usual southerly correction and nicking all our snow.

i live about 6 miles there but they are at 1000ft asl we had bit of wet snow earlier. BUt nothing since
yeah she has a small holding and she is there near the castle so quite hilly

right temp is 1.7 and dew point is -.0.4
You need your dewpoint at or below freezing and temp as close to freezing as possible - key thing is you dont want both rising else that is a bad sign.

thanks trying to learn just been given a weather stationCould well do but this is likely to have great variation in totals, some places will get a good tonking, others will get little and some on low ground may get sleet and rain - lamposting the best way for these showery marginal setups IMO.
