Just had 15 mins worth of lovely festive hailstones here, unfortunately they melted as soon as they hit the ground but was nice to see white stuff falling from the sky for a while. Seasons greetings to all.

Been snowing on and off since around 9 am here, had a lovely thick downpour 20 mins ago but back to light showers now, it's struggling to lie on the roads but roofs and grass have a white covering. Currently hovering around 1 C.

Everything lovely and white again outside. It's currently -0.1 and sky looking full of promise so hopefully more to come.

Morning all, -1 here. Great excitement outside my house as the school bus got stuck on the corner trying to navigate the brae, 25 minutes, and 3 council vans complete with shovels and grit bins later a dissapointed bunch of school kids are now on their way!! Don't reckon we will see any more snow today but with temperatures not destined to rise above freezing today it looks as though we will hang on to the few cms we have.

Hi Folks, Thanks for the welcomes. I'm from the North East of Scotland on the Banffshire coast have now popped it into my location. Temperature falling steadily now 0.7 and just thinking about getting the sledge out :w00t:

Hi Folks, Been lurking for a week or so now and it's just magic to see this forum burst into activity with the recent white stuff! Left my Sisters' house last night to walk down the hill to my home during a blizzard and it's been pretty much been constant since then Nice white covering here and currently chucking lovely big white fluffy flakes down, not managing to lie for very long on the sea shore but roads, cars and roofs managing to hold onto it. Currently 1.1 here and dropping.
