Cider, some more cider, more cider and some cider.

I'd love a reasonably settled March, temperamental April, intermittent May and and scorching June and July. August, come she must.

Resisted saying it up to now as have been hoping for an improvement but I fear it is becoming increasing unlikely. It’s just that with a setup such as this, I have to say, for me here in Weymouth, this is a bit of a letdown.
Whilst I’d normally be absolutely delighted with the snowfall that we have had today. But in the context of this setup, having to watch all the heavier stuff circumnavigate Weymouth with astonishing precision or weaken as it passed over before pepping up again, was hard to take all day. For once we had a realistic chance to get a proper fall of snow aka Feb ‘78. Not going to happen.
Chuffed to bits for the vast vast majority that did better than me, just a bit pee’ved we couldn’t muster more in Weymouth.
Hey ho. Moan over! ?
Its been a beautiful day for us S4. Its blowin a hoolie out there now and all its blowin around is ice and snow.

Will it beat a Friday in January 2013 is all I'm concerned about. I remember the Thursday night was when the snow arrived and the Friday morning we went sledging. 2010 was a cold fest. 1987, I was 10, living in Norfolk and remember my Dad trying to get his students to school. It will live long in the memory. Dorset and snow is a weird one, but maybe? Please!??!

Hi Folks,
Currently sat in the garden enjoying a beer whilst the front to the west slowly encroaches as it has been all morning. Great viewing.

Heavy rain falling and distant thunder....bring it on!

Further cell development showing up nicely near Arcachon/Bordeaux on the Sat 24 imagery. Hope is it will move on up later.

With all the low cloud today I was feeling a bit pessimistic about anything happening later, but John Hammond has just cheered me right up.

A few rumbles overhead here in Beaminster. Not much rain though, but the sky looking angry.

Lovely storm just passing over DT8 now. Lovely and humid too.

Funnel cloud?
Taken several mins ago to the north, on the edge of a shower which presumably marks the sea breeze convergence, lasted 2-3 mins at a guess.

Edit to add: My location is still in East Devon a few miles south of Ottery St Mary (am gunna be leaving to head back to uni soon though)
I saw it from Beaminster when picking the kids up from school. It was off to the west so in your general direction.
