    Well i'm not sure if hail is wintry but there was heavy hail in heavy rain at about 8.30pm.Can someone tell me if hail is wintry because if it's not then i won't post hail again. :roll:

    We just had a heavy hail shower around 10 minutes ago.There was around 4cm of it.

    When i got out of bed at 12noon(i'm not to well today) the sky was reasonably clear with blue patches but three hours later the wind had picked up to what i would think is a very strong breeze or possibly a weak gale and the rain is very blustery because of the wind.Proves how much the weather can change esp where i'm from!LOL :o

    i saw mars.from my eye it looked like a normal star but through my binocolours it was round but looked blue but it should look red :? i think last night it must have got down to around 4degrees.

    Outside it is only around 6degrees and i should imagine it will get colder.I will be trying to get up early to see if there is frost.How cold is it where you are?

    I saw the british news yesterday and the mountains in scotland were shown with snow on the tops.you love winter loads do you?So do i.

    The weather forecast last night said that thundery downpours would start in wales overnight.We have had a shower ot two but they were very light and no thunder or lightning.Does anyone have an idea when thunder will come into south wales.

    You taught me a lesson Dunc.I didn't know the official temp must be recorded in the shade.I would have thought it must be recorded in full sun.

    It was in full sun and on a south facing bank so no wonder that temperature came up.

    Well it was where I am but it's probably only very localised.

    I hate this weather,It's so sticky. :cry: At arond 2pm the thermometer in my garden measured 35.3 degrees.It may get a little warmer again tomorrow.Then thank god there will be thunder and rain.
