  1. Driving Snow here still, things turning slightly white now. Settling on cars and roofs now.

Small flakes really though, but heavish also.

    Temp 0.9c

Edit: Starting to settle on pavements as well now. Amazing! Just shows you, don't matter how wet it can be sometimes, it can settle fast if heavy enough, Seen it all before, so no surprise really. Just fascinating.

  2. Temp down from 4.1 Celsius at 10am to 3.8 Celsius here at the Bridge. DP down to 2.9.

The Wilshere - Cazorla - Arteta triumverate now looking sweet Gregg. The best we've looked on the ball for a while, just need to finish. Villa or Jovetic?

Yep, looking sweet as you say - Would prefer Jovetic being honest, Villa is very good, but at 31 and the price Barca would require, not for me personally, and not for Arsene I'd imagine, we'll see. Personally I'd rather the defence be concerntrated on rather than the attack, we look ok too me up front, Giroud is going to be a world beater soon! Walcott, Podolski ample enough cover. Were looking better now, let's hope we carry on and catch the mob from up the road!

    Currently light rain/drizzle at times - Temp 5c - Dew point 2c - SE'ly wind - Humidity 80.92%

  3. I think we are looking at rain here on the south coast for sun and Monday : ( but what I find interesting is that on the bbc weather both at 20.30 and 21.00 they only show as far as tomorrow night. They just mention that the midlands and north look likely to be in the firing line but to keep updated......... Do you think they could be keeping an open mind about any developments?

Still a lot of uncertainty for sure.

  4. Just a wonderful winters day, not really that much expected despite the warnings.

A good 4-5 inches lying here in Dagenham East, and had such fun in it with the kids!air_kiss.gif

Band of snow now moving slowly away north and east, very slowly though, and I understand ppl's view on it coming back at us, can see that.

Snow continuing to fall, and moderate to heavy at that. Magnificent snow event today, can't fault it!good.gif

  5. Further East I'd guess this system will go for me. Looking at the radar

Although winds are favorable for it too move further west, I think Brighton northwards too East London will be the fine line, and the heaviest of the snow in the North Sea. Maybe East Anglia will end up better from this next lot of snow.

Wouldn't be surprised if snowfall level totals are rather overcooked.

  6. Well after a good solid 10-12 hours of light to very occasional moderate falls of snow yesterday and some overnight, we have around half a cm of lying snow, with now a slight thaw happening, I can hear drip, drip off my son's bedroom roof.

Grey skies above, doing nothing Zzzz

Temp currently registering 2c in my car.

  7. Surprised at the let down that is Kent and other parts that have reported dustings, and sun peeps even, but I did fear some would miss out due too seeing other bands from the west being shunted SW into Northern France a few days ago. I just think the high pressure to our East is too strong.

Still snowing lightly to moderate occasionally here in Dagenham East, a cm or so maybe lying still, deep enough for a ant! lol

Better than some obviously anyway. I'm still happy, although depths have been disappointing too say the least in my neck of the woods.

    Temp hovering 0c

Edit: Coming down heavier than it's been all day now, I'd say a moderate fall now. Although I can see a few attempted breaks in the cloud overhead.
