Hi I’m spending my first Xmas with my girlfriends family in Lodz, flying into Warsaw Thursday night the weather looks a bit wintry on arrival, also the charts look on a knife-edge for snow over Xmas looking at the different models.

Temps at 850 are on there way down now but i would imagine we will need to get to -1 / -2c to ensure the milder air gets mixed out for the rain to snow although here its ice pellets now so maybe we are on the way back to snow..........

Yes looking convective between 6am and 9am tomorrow as cold front moves through lifted index -2 and good lapse rates strong winds too 60mph gusts possible here on the coast.

Looks some convective activity moving east tomorrow morning tied in with Destabilising of the current warm air one to watch.

Yep mid-level instability developing further south should maintain its intensity over the channel.

Weather today, Poole town centre mist/fog and chilly, 2 miles inland towards candford heath/ creekmoor sunshine and feeling warm, same this afternoon watching Bmth v West Ham mist/fog coming and going.
