    freezing out there today! really dont want to venture out...Bambi springs to mind. I managed to get some pictures of the snowflakes though

    Its still floating down here lightly. Some nice size flakes in there. I wish it had been in the daytime though. The prettiest snowflake landed on my fence. It actually looked like a real snowflake, you could see all its little bits (sorry for the rather scientific description there lolz) Couldn't get a pic though as its too dark for my camera! booo

    Ash as in ciggie ash haha. the rec lamp post? I can't look at the ones along the malthouse, they make my eyes go funny! It sure is a pic 'n' mix of skies out there, orange one way, foggy another!

    the snow is now hanging from the edge of the roof. I daren't go out the door incase it comes flying off at that moment, it would knowing my luck! Last time it snowed whoevers car was parked outside my house got a huge dent in it from the snow coming off my roof

    we've just been covered in superfog. I thought something was on fire when I looked out the window lol. Im with you Archiesmummy, I like the weather in extremes too. It would've been nice for the snow to stick around for a few days, instead we have that melty, drippy, slushy horrible mess... gah! stayingindoors.com

    Me too, hoping for some more this week/weekend. Not too good for the heating bill though lol.

    its a bit drippy out here now too. I'm just waiting for the thundering avalanches to come off the roof. Lovely lovely snow pics by everyone. Snow makes everything look so magical

    a few more from me. Im so chuffed I finally caught a Robin in my garden when I had the camera AND in the snow No temps to report as I haven't got a weather station....yet! There is no thaw out there though, snow completely compacted on the paths too.

    my Little Ladies first experience of snow went down a TREAT... lol. 20 mins to get them wrapped up and ready to go out and we were back indoors within less than 5 mins...kids eh?! Thats a bit of snow in her mouth by the way, my child does not have one huge fang. Anyway, I'll be off out on my own later to build a snowman and take some pretty snow pics

    Ooooo its starting to snow very lightly again! Wasnt sure if it was just blowing from the roofs but nope, definately dropping out the sky

    11cm here by the back door. I think it could be a tad deeper further up the garden but I was told to stop walking in the snow as I was ruining it (by my 3yr old Son lol) There is more excitement in this house today than there was at Christmas! I cant wait to take the kids out, it will be my little girls first snow experience

    just been outside and its like someones turned on a snow machine which is blowing out fine powder. Its starting to cover everything nicely though and looks great under the lamp post Just debating whether to stay up and wait for some proper flakes... I could be a very tired & disappointed bunny in the morning

    I can confirm they are out already. I heard someone shouting "IT'S SNOWING BOY" Looked out the window and yes it is haha

    nothing here yet but wasn't expecting it until much later anyway. Im going to have to restrain myself from looking out the window every 2mins haha
