Bagsy you tell us some first!!
LOL! I'd have to ask my other half.. He has a long list of them he takes the pee out of me for. I still only know my own versions to the songs and refuse to believe the proper words as mine are much better I'll ask him later and share my awesome lyrics haha

Oh dear, I know I am deaf now, but perhaps I was deafer than I realised as a child! Whole new generation in Southend saying "vein lights"!
It is still raining, but I think it is quite mild at 7.8c
CD
Vein lights is cool! Its one of those cute things where you mistake words for something else. Some of my 'own versions' of song lyrics are legendary where I mistake some words for something COMPLETELY different lol

I thought it was "fay nights" we used to shout, or "kings" to call a truce.
Still chucking it down here in Ware.
it is fay knights or even fein/feign. We taught our 4yr old to shout it in play battles lol.
Morning everyone. Not so windy today then! Really grim and wet out there though. Im off out in an hour so I bet it starts to chuck it down as soon as I step out the door. The law of sod!

morning all
Well, that went out with a splash rather than a bang didnt it. From an IMBY perspective this cold spell rates 4/10. It just never really delivered for us compared to pretty much the rest of the country. Expectations are high after 2010 but even last Feb tops this for me. Still, Winter is not over yet so I'm putting my faith in Feb! I'm going to enjoy these mild days. I know where the cold has gone..Ive flippin got it in my head achhooooooo sniffle sniffle So I'm going to get rid of this cold and then hoping we have another shot at some Snowy stuff

Very heavy precip to our west ladys n gents...... Its coming.....

Hi Tilly,
Poor Mr Snowman
I know. I must be feeling the kids pain, they don't care lol! If it snows again il make an army of them
-
Never mind I haven't got enough snow left to make a snowball now, hopefully we will see some more in February!
Yeah! I hope so too, double helpings next time. There is still quite a fair bit left in my garden and even some still on the roof. I'll make you a snowball
-
will he fit in the freezer?
No I have pictures of him though I guess.
Seriously though I really do feel quite sad lol. Kill me now lol
-
I'm hoping for snow and not rain. I don't want my snowman to melt he has been with us for nearly a week and he feels like one of the family. Urrgghh tomorrow will be a sad day!
-
in a word... Yes!
righto thanks. Might have to set my alarm to look out the window lol!
-
Quick Question..
If we get Snow here, yes big IF.. is it turning to rain and likely to be all gone in the morning?
-
we're down for heavy snow at 9pm tonight?!
I shall expect nothing then not be too disappointed when it doesnt happen. Would love a few more CM's though
-
little snowballs (graupel) currently falling here
-
we had a little bit of fluff falling this morning. Plenty of Snow still on the ground and the Snowman is still going strong. I think this is the longest lasting Snowman in the garden!
-
Really?, you were pouring vodka on your cornflakes this morning!
? Lol I hate vodka
-
Confirmed sighting of snow out te window! A bit dust like again though x
-
BBC weather today have been utter useless!
If I was an old aged pensioner and saw a bbc weather forecast today which had NO snow in it
And decided to go out to get some grocery s and then find myself walking back in heavy blowing snow I'd be fuming
I think the oldies are pretty used to the Weather being a suprise ;0) I dont think it bothers them as much either. Back in the day when they had REAL snow... pah these Winters are nothing compared lol

That quick, interesting match-up with Tilly that. ENE (Thames Streamer) you'd be favourite, NE (Mid-Kent Streamer) would make Tilly favourite. If you can send me a brown envelope stuffed with notes, I'll sort out an ENE for you!
Sorry Tilly.
Tom
ahem! just popped in for a catch up and you're Match fixing?!
Bad Bad Tom!! LOL

My brother had this... Could be a number of things..
1) Washing the clothes in Bio soap
2) What he washes in the Bath (my sister also has to use non smelly soap)
3) Pets (pretty obvious one)
4) Something he is eating
Hmm..
we havent changed washing powder or fabric softner, no new products in the bath, we have no pets and he hasnt eaten anything different (he has food issues so only eats a handful of things) I've asked the school if there is anything new they have been using or doing any planting etc and they're going to get back to me. He is itching all over with a rash too. Very odd! Thanks for your reply though lovely x

Sounds bad hopefully you find out what it is!
Yeah I hope so but it must be something from school and absolutely no clue what! The Dr said call 999 if it gets worse... always reassuring...not!

Morning all had to brave the roads very early this morning after OH spent what seemed like forever clearing the van off as I needed an emergency trip to a&e seems I have an allergic reaction to some wallpaper paste I've been using to decorate my kids bedroom!! My face swollen triple the size it normally is, my eyes closed to a squint and I was having difficulty catching my breath some steroids and piriton through IV soon helped now I'm back in the warm again, was pretty scary must admit and I was cursing the snow for being so thick in my turning!!!
God hope you are ok now! Weirdly this has happened to my little boy this weekend too. We are just back from the doctors and she said he is having a reaction to something. His little face is massive... Normal on the left..we have no idea what the reaction is to
