  1. I now reside in N. lincs but these were sent from my hometown area of the south hams in s. devon by my sister this morning,, This is the main rd to plymouth from the south hams this is just outside my hometown of kingsbridge (where i would walk my dogs)
  2. Yep its just missing us out here we are just a little to east, now that sounds strange...

Yes john that was a bit of a flippent comment probably has no bearing on the matter but it does seem to happen on a regular basis i quite agree they do tendto fizzle out by the time they get to our area,, in cant be coz they run out of steam, further south round south to mid lincs they fire all the way to the coast !!!!!

Im really begining to feel for you crew,, but sayin that lincolnshire keeps getting a mention on here like its some storm capital, but i can tell u up here in north lincs near the humberwe havnt really had a full blown thunder event for atleast 3 yrs we missed it all on thursday it either went south or north through east yorkshire its like the humber as some type of shield well on the south bank anyways lol,,,,

  6. Up here in n. lincs near the humber a few bits of thunder and minimal lightening rain as been moderate since 12 but starting to brighten up a bit could this be the lull before the storm,lol, that motherload just passing over lincoln looks like it will pass south east of me.

  8. very much agree, just like yesterday, grey misty drizzle, pretty much all day the charts showed all the potential just coudnt see it happening with the murk and low cloud then boom all out of knowhere took the leccy out for a bit wasnt a prolonged storm but quite potent at the time just goes to show appearences can be deceiving even the weather,,lol
  9. lightening just took power out,, up here in north lincs couple of rumbles and now torrents of rain and that is with being in the murky misty drizzle all day no sunny day was required.....

  15. cant beleive that happened, was almost on top of me. then went to my west crossed the humber and went into yorkshire dammmmmmm lol..
  16. Yes lewis looks really good for us in lincs, today if your out and about this side of the bridge this afternoon give us a shout,,, noticeably milder this morning sun nearly through !!!

  20. Lightening now on radar 15miles to my north and 12 miles to my east in North lincs... Either side of the humber !!!!
