Hmmm. I can see some dark clouds quite a few miles to my South RB - maybe it'll head over here too with some luck?!

Well that was short-lived. Just drizzle left, but we have a little stream now where the garden path was . A poor show here too Rob as far as storms go :cry:

Torrential downpour here from a lovely big black cloud, for 5+ minutes so far. One big flash, one rumble and the kind of huge raindrops that renders small animals unconcious! Doesn't look like it's going to last very long, I can already see it's far edges.

Yep Robert, if you were in or around central Glasgow I can well believe that! Saw the bulk of it heading your way and wished I was there :cry: All we seem to be seeing here are storms forming and moving away, or litterally just catching its edge as it passes by. Steve -

That cell was pretty slow moving, so I was able to see two brilliantly lit CG strikes. The pulse of rain was short-lived, but pretty hefty and the rumblings were almost constant at one point. I think Glasgow will be enjoying a fantastic light show, if that was just the trailing edge I got. You lucky people!!! Steve Here's what was on its way (hope I linked it right) -

VERY heavy shower, accompanied by 3 rumbles of thunder just passed over heading apprx NW. Looks like we caught the edge, as it heads trowards Glasgow city centre(ish). Steve Er, make that 4 rumbles now....one loud enough to scare me out of my chair!
