Lol Text from me Red alert weather warning in place, please dont go out later, ive just filled two flasks, charged phones up but my candles are packed in a box somewhere. Mum says, ok i know about the weather warning, im in sainsburys at the moment then off to keep fit later, dont worry we have a kerosine heater and candles at our house if you need them. Me: lol i dont think its a good idea to come out in the middle of a raging storm, drive to yours to pick up a heater and some candles lol ! Mum: ok, i can drop the candles off to you on thursday! Me: mum, the storm is today! Oh dear you have to laugh dont ya!!

Its really bad here already with the wind! And getting heavy downpours of rain and some snow mixed in,,gone really dark now too and cold !

Its very windy now with rain and sleet mixed in. Ive filled a few flasks with hot water, lol packed all my candles up yesterday! Ready for moving house.. Charging phones and that up now... Probaly filled my flasks too early...but will keep the kettle hot ready to replace

Just warned my family about it as mum doesnt seem to care and goes out! Lol... Whens it about to hit?

No i dont think theres ever been a red warning for us for anything, there was a red warning for somewhere in wales a couple of years ago for snow if you remember?

I guess its gunna get busy in this thread later...or not if we have power cuts!!! I hope not, we need the electric for our little lad as he has a special diet!
