  1. @Hawesy I would happily bank same as @edo! Something white I can play in would be amazing! It's been sooo long!

I really hope its a white-oot for everyone in our group on one day or another over the next cold spell. Always fun when we are all twitching at our curtains and squinting at lamp posts. :friends:

Its currently quite breezy here. There was talk of it being windy later this week too is that still the case?

  2. Hmm so the next wintery spell is looking towards later next week? coming from the NW? So that will be good for those north and to the west and along the central belt I think. Not really good for us here, in a imby perspective is it @edo?  Though still time for things to change a bit in that timescale im guessing. The usual upgrades and downgrades and some toys flying aboot in MT nearer the time no doubt :-P

Back down in central belt tonight. Drive down was very misty most of the way, especially around Dundee and Perth. Drizzly in Airdrie. Pity, as it was decent in Aberdeenshire earlier, a bit of mist around but otherwise little cloud and some sun.

Its been super misty all day! A proper hide indoors day! Is it all safe in the MT? i may go look

  4. Hope you are all having a lovely Christmas! RIP George :-(

Snowing here in perth, but only settling at higher ground from what I can see. My folks have a couple of inches in Kingussie and are enroute to me today, so away to check the traffic cams to see whats what at Drumochter.

  5. Very cold start this morning and a frosty drive out to Blairgowrie. Funnily enough relatives in the south west of England, who "never get snow" in their recurring words, have the white stuff settling today and we haven't seen anything here yet. Makes a change! Weather be a funny old thing and things can crop up quickly in the right setup.

Oh and hellooo as this might be my first post in yonkers! :D

  6. Was actually dry for a while this morning  :shok: Now back to dark, grey and wet.

See we have an amber warning for the Highlands & Islands and a yellow warning for pretty much everywhere else in Scotland for thursday into friday. Lets hope these winds bring a change in this damp & grey spell we have had.

  7. Heavy mist and drizzle plus smoke made for a poor firework display here tonight. A shame when you think how much money these things cost.

Totally bored of the foggy drizzle. Im with Catch - bring on something a little cooler and clearer sky!

  8. What a difference a few hours made today OTR. I had MrsC's dogs out at the woods before seven this morning. It was cold, frosty but sunny. A lovely winter's morning walk :)

Yes was lovely first thing and then rapidly went downhill sadly. Not sure tomorrow will be an improvement!
