Lateset NAE Chart showing snow for most of Wales tomorrow, interesting. Whether it will happen or not though is a different story. Been a nice day again today once the rain cleared, mainly clear and a high of 11.2c.

Just had a very wintry shower, hail mostly but quite alot of snow in it aswell, temperature dropped 2c in the shower. Now 3.6c

Wow, The models and the metoffice have not handled the distribution of precipitation well at all. The snow is alot further East than expected with Central, Eastern England and the SE seeing most of the snow at the moment. The BBC forecast on 6 o clock news had snow over the East!

Yes I agree, very strange. I can't see any of us getting anything to be honest by looking at the radar at least. Ah well. only weather.
I still think you in SE Wales will get snow by the morning but not as much as was forecast. The snow isn't far away from SE Wales at the moment with heavy snow in Swindon which isn't too far away.
It is very strange though how the Metoffice did not forecast any of the snow that is currently falling in Eastern England.

UKMO is excellent http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/ukmo2.php?nh=0&ech=144&carte=1021 and GFS is also a huge improvement for a GH next week. GH would certainly improve Wales' chances of good snow.

Could be interesting for SE wales, dont think anyone further west will get any though, hopefully GH reappears on the 12z runs.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Generally cloudy and wet on Friday and Saturday, with east Wales at risk of seeing some significant snow for a time. Probably drier and brighter by Sunday, especially further south.

Temp has risen 3c in around hour and a half here, 4.1c rain now!

Latest GFS run amazing for Pembrokeshire Wednesday on, about time we had some decent snow! Temp 2.1c here now and heavy rain. Bit of light snow earlier but only lasted for around 15 minutes

Temp risen to -0.3c here now in Pembs, high cloud. Rain tomorrow, hopefully bit of snow on leading edge.

Hit -7.3c here in Pembs last night, however only -1.3c at the moment.

Hi Jack, do you think the latest GFS is realistic and would it bring a better chance of snow this time if that run did verify. Looks like turning alot colder again from Tuesday.

This GFS run only loses the cold tomorrow night, Sunday and Monday and then by Tuesday, the very cold air is upon us again and is still with us at T168 so far. Brilliant Run

This run is so much better in the long term, more amplification and back to very cold towards middle of next week.

Clear skies all day and still is here in Pembs, -4.6c and falling, max of 1.1c today

Great GFS Parallel run! and the 12z ECM run is just another possible outcome out of many evolutions that could happen in the next week, its still all unresloved. It's all been very marginal and nothing has really changed just because of one run

Really frustrating weather here, cloudy all day yesterday and today and yet Carmarthen is mainly sunny. Looks like it will stay cloudy here for most of the week aswell.
