    I would ignore the met update, have you not read ian f latest update from the met . Update: MOGREPS now agrees with EC on scope and onset of blocking with longevity well into trend period (10-15d): cold & frosty; dry/largely dry for most with exception of E districts initially & showers tending to migrate progressively to more central districts with time.

    The met update for my area has sleet at lunchtime then light rain between 3-6 pm, then cloud, it looks like to me its been pushed further sw.

    I totally agree , my point was Glenn w said in the mod thread that the 12z had moved the low north not south which is not true, it was clear to see there was a clear sw movement.

    Im not optimistic , the met have downgraded my area big time, from heavy snow to sleet at best .

    Totally agree , Met have got heavy snow forecast till midnight for p/boro .

    I dont know what part of boro you leave Hughsey but it seems to be rain here in Hampton ,at the moment that is.

    To my untrained eye everything seems to be further south and east on the radar,strange because the MO latest updates seem to have everything further west. Regards
