    Have you ever known the models to be all over the place at 96 to 120.Point being when they show a snow feast at 120 we should be cautious, and like today when they went mild it was taken as gospel. So it's never over till its over and I think we are going to hit the jackpot soon. You get enough near misses and we only need a bit of luck and it will happen.

    I Get that, but only 3pages on model thread and over 20here.I Just think it means if cold weather is showing is it for the forecasting model thread, or this one. I understand why it was done just think it spoils the enjoyment!

    Interesting that more members are on here than Forecast model thread. I think the Mods have split the thread. I respect the rules but cold hunt and banter should be separate. I think members are confused as to were the main contribution from members is. Hunt for cold, you have to few the models so I don't get it. I understand that the Mods are doing there best but just find the new thread annoying.

    You've got to be realistic, the shortwaves are the spoilers ecm will follow the others!

    At least if we expect nothing won't be disappointed! But I think the trend is not good!

    I remember before some years back ECM at 120 was going for an Easterly, and ukmo was not. We all assumed the king ECMwas correct, but it was ukmo that was correct. Its very messy. 12z should confirm the artic high issue.

    Agree that the only saving grace is At 78hours gfs should be correct, in turn that will effect the output further on so if its correct at 78 we hope out to 144 at least it is right. ECM had snow machine charts yesterday and backed away before this morning when they improved again. I hope it's just a wobble, but that gives me hope it will flip back on 00zs.
