Sleety rain here but not heavy..... Heavier bursts more sleety but thats it.... 2c..... Christmas decs down, lounge hoovered... Off to new house for check to see if its ready for tenents then pub lunch....

According to netweather radar heavier precip heading in and possibly turning sleety/snowy....lookslike snowy stuff most likely around buxton and surrounding hills....

Popped upto mottram to tesco, through broadbottom to garden centre and back....thick fog descended after leaving tesco.... Temp 1-2c but in fog -1c.... Coming across from charlesworth across the hilly road to glossop thick fog and snow made feel very wintry....people sledding down the snowladden fields making the most of what is left.... Citrus lamb on hob, beer open, fire on....

Very pretty, bit like up here.....so far loving this cold snap.... Snow is very crunchy and icy compacted now but looks like an alpine scene with the hills, trees and fields all white....

Glossop in the snow.... Suprised that up where i am 7-10cm, glossop town centre hardly anything more than dusting, higher up thick snow 4-8inches...some places looked like a film crew had spray painted the landscape...

Clouds before were moving from nw to se now moving ne to sw..... Even so its -1c very icy.... Just looking at birds devouring food.... Log on fire, radio on, wine open....lovely to have snow and decs up....

How much did you get in the end? Spent 45minutes this morning trying to get into friends car which had completely frozen solid, locks, doors, boot....

7cm snow last night.... Ice everywhere.... Got keys to new house this morning, padfield extremely icy.... Drove over to chapel.... Very pretty when everythings blanketed in white.... Not got above freezing here.... Cold one tonight.... Fog/mist looking quite eerie...
