I will be pleased if we do see snow but to be honest I'm not expecting it here in Bootle but who knows? What I hate more than anything is snow to rain events - waste of time and brings back memories of dissapointed childhoods- by the time you were ready to play out in it it had turned to rain!!!!! I have a hockey match on sat morn at ten am in Bootle -what's the latest on the snow risk for the Bootle area for sat morn (want to know whether to set my alarm or just curl up under the duvet instead (if it's called off!)

Thanks backtrack-ahh well back to the snow dance!! Love cold frosty days but would prefer some snow in the mix-nothing better than a grey sky and waiting for these first few flakes to fall. What is the latest on our chances of snow later in the week?

Cloudy and dry here in bootle (near Liverpool) may see some Fog tonight temp 2 deg at the moment . nOt sure if this cloud building is just high cloud or if it might contain a few grains of snow or something wintry. Anyone in the area with more knowledge care to comment?
