I'm keeping everything crossed for a fantastic snowmageddon winter! I'm still a newbie with the models (and too scared too post my forecasts!) but will still be looking from late October for any patterns emerging. Bring on the snow!

It was the winter weather and snow forecasts that got me into netweather in the first place! I'm an extremes kind of girl. Love love love snow and love love love hot sun! Anything In between is jut bleh! Here's hoping for a snow filled winter even for the south coast like 2010!!

It was so cold out at 4.30 this morning on the way to heathrow. At 7.00 at heathrow it was only 7 degrees. Brrrrr still feeling chilly now!

Had a fantastic day at the nothe today. We had a few spots of rain at about 12.30 but the sun was strong through the clouds. Got a bit of sunburn on my face!

Thanks andy! I'm hoping the sun will make an appearance and dry the ground out I will be taking a bin bag for under my picnic blanket though!!!!

The forecast not looking good for us sitting on the floor at the nothe fort tomorrow for the sailing :-( it was bound to rain it's the luck we have!

Morning everyone. A rain shower has just started here on the south coast. Let's hope it moves away quickly. Still keeping everything crossed for Tuesday in Weymouth.

I won't wear a white top then!!! Lol. Yep have tix for the nothe. Parking is sorted as we are taking my mum who needs a wheelchair and have pre booked disabled parking. That's the one thing the the Olympics have done right! They have been very good for disabled access. Here's hoping for a dry day. Don't mind not warm but definitely want dry!

Well a few settled days to come over the weekend. I'm just hoping that the 31st is dry. We have Olympic sailing tickets in Weymouth and I don't fancy getting soaked!!

Well as usual FI has signs of a better time weather wise for the south. Will it come off this time? And what's the betting the AHP will be firmly in place in time for winter this year!! Imagine if this set up had been in January!! The snow we would of got. Wow!

Morning all. Overnight the river levels Of the stour at iford bridge hit there highest ever levels of 2.43m. It seems to be rescinding slightly now. Waiting to see if any flood damage to homes in the area.

Park home site at iford ring evacuated at the moment due to high risk of flooding this evening on the stour. Hope it is just precaution and doesn't happen.

After a lovely sunny day yesterday waiting for the showers to set in again today. And then for the regular feature of a friday low to come!!

Good morning all. What a weekend Of rain we will be having. Very heavy rain here the past hour. And looking at netweather forecast the torrential rain is due to hit at about 13.00.

It must of been cold last night. The pea sized hail that fell about 7.30pm is still on the grass this morning. Will upload a picture later when I'm not on my phone. We had 2 massive hail storms within half an hour last night mixed in with thunder and lightning. localised though as I know Poole didn't get anything other than rain.

Wow it's quiet on this thread. I'm thinking a week of horrid rain :-( is to come. Where has the sunshine gone? But plenty for summer to really come!!

Temp is rapidly falling here now. Gone to 4.6 from 5.8 in half an hour. Wind chill makes it 1.3 still just v heavy rain though.
