OMG!! why is the bbc weather on BBC news showing weather at 3pm today? its 8pm now!! They gone nuts!
unless they are busy watching this weekend weather unfolds..... That would make sense at least.

Lovely blue skies here, satellite shows a slice of clearness over parts of NW England, quite surprised, but a welcome surprise.

Still boring settled ''crap'' here with temperature of 6C. Im glad that the weather is changing to unsettled conditions by Wednesday onwards. Only 2 weeks of winter left. Fingers crossed for seriously cold, snowy weather. Only time will tell.

Going to be a drought!! Not looking good. Not my type of weather. Some snow for mid March though, after that warming up.
Im guessing this is be it for the Cool Season (Winter). Now Roll on to the Wet Season (Summer).

Yorkie members are reporting just light snow to moderate. I obviously expect alot heavier snow in Yorkshire by now but no.
This snow is just pure pointless now.
Roll on to the last gasp of winter before Summer. Spring is not a term here anymore since our climate is changing.

While I working in Chorley it was snowing lightly on and off with an odd one heavier moderate burst in them. But only for 1 minute. That just suck ass.
I thought at the very moment when the snow got heavier it will last all day today on into the night. But the weather says ''nah dont think so''.
the only place that today's snow sticks is on top of Winter Hill, I can see it from Chorley.

Thats looks interesting, looks like the ECM charts are showing Northerly winds coming our way.ECM and GFS look unsettled in FI for the start of spring
But up-to next Thursday at least this sums up what we can expect

I disagree with you because the Pennines prob blocks the most of the cloudy weather so it will still be a good day tomorrow but few more clouds than today.tomorrow cloudy and colder
The wind is still light tomorrow so I cant see clouds coming over here anyway. Its only 15mph at best so it will not enough to bring clouds from the east.

I been having a walk in Cuerden Valley couple of hours ago and the snow were stinging my face!! That is really made my day.

I think on Saturday there is could be a chance that the rain could turn to snow. I just watched the bbc weather and it shows rain over northern england turning to snow on saturday. I could be wrong though as always.
