In a blizzard condition the snow can actually scratch your face just like sand. I experienced it when I traveled to sweden. just to bare in mind.

According to my weather on my ipad hour ago it used to show sleet on sunday with maximum temps of 4C but now it is showing light snow with a maximum of 2C. I can see clearly the cold air is winning so far.

If there is multipal bands of ppn this weekend I expect atleast the first one is certainly will bring widespread heavy snow. It is -1C here already and it is only 20 past 7. I expect lows of -4 - -5C here. I think its gonna get colder each day.

My weather app on ipad shows snow on Friday and Saturday and then sleet with 4C on Sunday.

Its getting colder out here and frost is forming already here. Freezing here in terms of temperature.

I think it will snow on Friday because its more windier than the last one. Maybe the windchill may help it to snow. It be about -5C to -7C windchill if were lucky.

clouds here are breaking up now especially towards the north west of me. Stopped snowing here. I dont think the frost will completely melt or it will melt partially because of the cloud. I would call the clouds Stratocumulus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratocumulus
