Well thought I may as well do one for today. Had a thunderstorm here about 5/10 mins ago, very heavy snow with it, so heavy the ground seemed to have gone white within a minute. Very happy now Also my 5th thunderstom of this month so far
-
Ground is white here already, just moved my car onto a flat bit of road so hopefully it'll move in the morning

Had thunder here as well at about 11:00 AM this morning as well as hail making violent conditions in the very strong winds
-
Had hail and thunder around 11:00 AM this morning. Very pleased with 2004 so far, only 11 days into it and already a covering of snow and 2 thunderstorms
-
Just looked at the radar and that was my thunderstorm I had earlier on
-
Just though i'd start one for today as I had a thunderstorm around half an hour ago at half past 12
-
Yeap, here at portishead I've just woken up to find 1cm of snow on the ground and still snowing. I'm 125m above sea level dont know if its settled lower down
-
Out of interest what height above sea level do u people in south wales live at? I live at 125m and dont know if it snowed here due to being to ill & asleep yesterday!
-
yeah, their still covered now at 4:23PMCan you see Wales from where you are.I got a good covering last night but its all melted now but i assume the mountains are still covered. -
Dont know if it snowed here last night cos I cant see any on the ground but I can see snow on the welsh mountains on the other side of the channel
-
Very heavy rain here right now and quiet windy
-
I'm hopeing for this afternoon. Much colder than I expected it to be at the moment only 4 degrees C, maybe i'll see some sleet or wet snow from the area of precipitation moving in. Will be good cos these conditions are extremely rare in this part of the country for this time of the year. I expect i'll be able to see the tops of the welsh mountains snow covered tomorrow even if nothing happens here anyway

33 degrees now here in the shade
