I'm in Linthorpe and there hasn't been that much of a thaw since this morning. The field across the road is still covered as well as my garden and the pavements
That school always shuts! I went to college in Guisborough which is even higher up than Nunthorpe and that remained open for the majority of the winter of 2009 and 2010. We had to walk around in over a foot of snow and it used to take the college bus 2 hours to travel 12 miles.
In fact that college is opening an hour late tomorrow ha ha, here's hoping Teesside University is closed tomorrow.
One of the schools which is closed tomorrow is located higher up in the area, while the other is not very far from me and is in a low lying location. This will either be a big snow event or a horrow show, which can it possibly be?
Well two schools in my area have announced that they will be closed tomorrow, they must have had a warning or something from local authorities/ Met Office?
And it's started snowing again in Middlesbrough, light ATM but it should intensify around 12 if the met office forecast is to believed. Aldo the sky looks very pink so something must be brewing
