    Seems like GFS op was a cold outlier in the 6z and is now a mild outlier in the 12z. UKMO a bit better than GFS at 144. I think that gfs doesnt deal very well with that low exiting the US at t144. Hopefully ECM tonight will join UKMO at 144 !

    Evening, A bigger risk of a cyclogenesis event on the UK looking at GFS and UKMO. It will be interesting to see ECMWF and the ensembles to check if the trajectory of the low confirms that describes by GFS. I am dubious on the potential of the "storm" however. Are we looking at something similar to last sunday ?

    In my opinion, this front is too weak, it won't bring any disruptive snowfall. The midlands might get a covering. As for London, the ridiculous 5cm we got last week end is probably it really for this winter...

    Hi, In my opinion, SE will see heavy snow this weekend, the front will stall over belgium so it might not settle in the london area and to the west ot that. But it will be very close, I wouldnt be surprised to see 3-4 inches in East London and nothing at heathrow airport
