Thunderboom same as the whole of last year for me and the one before. As said dozens of times now it changed about 15 years back. I'd get used to it, sadly I think it's the new norm.

Southern Storm thank you, appreciate the reply- at this stage ive downgraded to just hoping to see a rain drop in this desert. It barely ever rains around here, everything is bone dry, this location always seems to just miss by a few miles somehow. A storm would be incredible but I don't expect that. Please weather gods can I see some weather, it's not a big ask.

Rain just passing us by again. Doesn't matter which way the wind blows, always just missing out Is that it for the day or are storms going to grow elsewhere?

My mum saw 3 green balls of lightning as a 7 year old in a block of flats in London 1952, she said it was a vicious storm and constant forked lightning. All of a sudden she saw 3 balls materialise that she could see right outside the window that were hissing as they zipped around. She told me this story many times back in the 80s, at the time she wasn't even aware of the terminology or what it was or if others had seen similar. Her story over the years (until recently with dementia) has been very consistent. I 100% believe in ball lightning because of this, wish I could experience it. These days just experiencing lightning full stop would be a miracle!!

More chance of being struck by lightning than seeing a storm tomorrow.... oh wait..
