Thanks Karl,just got back in from shopping and noticed the Leicester storm die out but glad you got to witness it,i am just hoping that these cells in Lincolnshire don't die as well and i seem to notice that the are taking a more W/NW track than N/NW like the Leicester cell,maybe more of an influence from that easterly wind as they come further north that is steering them. i see visual towers now to my SE although faintly as it's quiet a milky sky a final note,just noticed some more cells firing up SE of Leicester,good luck in what ever direction you travel.

Finally caught up Christ!!! it is busy in here I love how that Leicester storm is hugging the M1 am i going to be third time lucky today? @Weather-history,great captures mate,i bet you are a happy bunny @Supacell,are you staying put,storm coming to you.

Thanks to everyone for all the media,pics,videos because this thread is nearly as good as chasing a storm i haven't been chasing today as i have been held up but i am going chasing tomorrow that's for sure.

You cannot just go on cape though Tom,there is other factors like CZ's(convergence zones),shear,lapse rates,dew points etc etc,and as is the nature of showers,some places just like the last few days get a dumping whilst most stay dry hope that helps

UHI(London) looks to brewing some heavy showers now to the W/NW.

WOW that's beautiful that's quiet some way down but hard to judge by the terrain and that image looks closer to the ground but i bet it drops off behind those hills.

Thanks for clarifying that up Karl cells just breaking out just south of Nott's in Leicester,i am keeping my eye on that area as there is plenty of Cu building down there,good luck.

Initiation over Leicester as in a cell has popped up there pretty quick.

Hey Supacell,is it Karl? do you think those storms over the NW will back build to this location that you have put above or are there more storms to build from the SE of there?,genuine question. or it could be that placement above is further west now currently?

Last one from me from Blackpool last night @Paul Sherman,i hope you catch a storm as the low sinks in the next few days i was getting exited earlier as the storms crept further N/NW but they died out as they approached here,still i think there would be more opportunities esp Tuesday.
