Wow,big boom of thunder here,yay! -
Morning all some nice convection going on around here and there is some nice towers developing to my south, good luck all that catch a storm. Edit,really dark to my south.

It looks like lincolnshire is in the firing line at the minute lol. Edit,it is throwing it down here,but no lightning.

I am sure i have just seen faint lightning to the south.

It looks like the sferics have died as quick as they came,still plenty of time left tonight before i turn,but not worried as there is tomorrows potential.

Evening everyone theres quiet a few sferics in NW whales at the mo,also i am keeping my eye on them clump of showers from derby to gloucester.

Ok,a broader picture,there is some nice radar returns SW of cornwall,no sferics as of yet but keep a peeping eye. anyone in for a long night?

Skies have gone dark to my SW with another shower from stoke area,lets see if this fizzles out.

Yes your'e right PIT,we need a shift from SW to S or SE for us up here to get something,it seems the showers die of death as they come up the western slopes,THEN reform to the E or NE of us,we are shelted in this S.yorkshire pit lol
